Suzanne Coupland qualified from Sheffield Hallam University as a Therapeutic Radiographer in 2002, working initially at the North Wales Cancer Treatment Centre. In 2005, she moved to Raigmore Hospital, Inverness, where she specialised in Pre Treatment with a particular interest in breast radiotherapy. Having spent time as a Treatment and Review Radiographer, Suzanne became the Advanced Imaging Lead Radiographer for Radiotherapy in 2018, and quickly became involved in the development of the breast radiotherapy service, particularly Surface Guided Radiotherapy (SGRT) and tattooless treatment.
Suzanne’s role includes staff training and departmental development, where she is currently leading 4DCT, in addition to daily patient specific imaging concerns. Suzanne is currently pursuing the development of SGRT for other sites, including thoracic and Head and Neck.
