National Cancer Research Institute
The National Cancer Research Institute is a UK-wide partnership of cancer-related research funders, established in 2001. Our member organisations work together to accelerate progress in cancer-related research through collaboration, to improve health and quality of life and to accelerate translation of the research into clinical practice for the benefit of patients.
We coordinate a range of activities including managing a comprehensive network of groups, which develop and implement high quality studies; collating cancer research funding data on behalf of our Partners; running time limited initiatives that address gaps and opportunities in cancer research, and hosting the UK`s largest Cancer Conference.
Our Partners have funded more than £5.5bn of cancer research since 2002, and working together we ensure that these funds are used to best effect.
