British Oncology Pharmacy Association (BOPA)

'Promoting excellence in the pharmaceutical care of patients with cancer'

The British Oncology Pharmacy Association was founded in the autumn of 1996 and grew out of the United Kingdom Clinical Pharmacy Association (UKCPA).

BOPA is a registered charity dedicate to the promotion of excellence in the pharmaceutical care of patients with cancer through education, communication, research and innovation by an alliance of hospital, community and academic pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, those in the pharmaceutical industry and other healthcare professionals.

Our members benefit from access to the BOPA eLearning centre, discounted rates at our annual symposium, peer support via active web forums, invitation to BOPA study days and webinars and access to resources such as guidelines and position statements.
