Consultant Oncoplastic Breast Surgeon & Honorary Professor of Surgery
Zoë Is an Honorary Professor of Breast Surgery at University College London (UCL) and has practiced as a Senior Consultant Onncoplastic Breast Surgeon since 2000. She practiced at the University Hospital Bristol until November 2016, subsequently re-locating to London. She trained at leading University Hopsitals in Johannesburg and Cape Town, South Africa before receiving the Oxford Nuffield Senior Research Fellowship to complete her PhD in Molecular Biology at the University of Oxford, Worcester College with the world leading Medical Oncologist Professor Adrian Harris. Zoë was awarded the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh King James IV Professorship for her contributions to Surgery Research in 2001. Zoë was awarded an Honorary Chair in Surgery at University College London working with the Surgery Interventional Trials Unit in the Department of Surgery and Interventional Science in 2017. She has run two world first breast cancer clinical trials working with UCL where she currently leads her clinical academic research.
