Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust
I am a consultant respiratory physician at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust. I am a co-investigator and senior clinician on the Yorkshire Lung Screening Trial (YLST).
The Yorkshire Lung Screening Trial (YLST)
The Yorkshire Lung Screening Trial is currently the UK’s largest lung cancer screening trial, funded by a £5.2m investment by regional charity Yorkshire Cancer Research. In partnership with Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, the study will investigate ‘Lung Health Check’ screening in mobile vans within Leeds communities. YLST will collaborate with other studies including the Yorkshire Enhanced Stop Smoking Study, lung cancer biomarker research, and other international screening studies.
