University College London
Simon undertook a PhD and then post-doctoral fellowship at the Institute of Cancer Research, developing novel imaging biomarkers for assessing the response of tumours to anticancer therapies with magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Following a move to the Centre for Advanced Biomedical Imaging at University College London, he was awarded a Wellcome Trust Senior Research Fellowship in 2013 to develop MRI techniques to assess tumour microstructure and predict drug delivery, using machine learning.
Using medical imaging with machine learning to develop efficient tools for diagnosing cancer
This seminar will describe new approaches for assessing tumour microstructure with MRI, using machine learning / artificial intelligence techniques.
