Dr Antonia Lavorata
Antonia Lavorato (PhD, MPE) has an extended experience as clinical medical physicist. She is actively involved in clinical physics procedures and quality assurance checks. Her work focuses on improving patient outcomes from radiotherapy treatments, this includes the implementation and use of advanced techniques such as SBRT and SGRT.
Surface-Guided Radiotherapy and Optimal Breast Cancer Treatment
We will describe the use of SGRT to optimise patient positioning for radiotherapy for breast cancer, demonstrating improved accuracy and reliability, increased speed of set-up and better patient experience. The contribution of this to enabling advanced radiotherapy practice for breast cancer is discussed.
